MobiStor + MobiOps

I bought a storage companyto prove a point.

Small businesses can run like tech companies.

Small businesses can run like tech companies.

The why

On June 1, 2026, I bought MobiStor, a local portable storage company in Mansfield. Good trucks, good containers, loyal customers, and a back office running on spreadsheets and memory. I saw a business that didn't need more hustle. It needed systems.

And I wanted a real company to test what happens when you let software handle the behind-the-scenes work and free people up to actually talk to customers.

What changed

Audit first. Then build.

We audited every container, every lease and every dollar in the first weeks. Then we built MobiOps from scratch: quotes, orders, delivery scheduling, driver dispatch, billing, customer history and a driver referral program, all in one system.

  • Calls get answered 24/7.
  • Drivers claim jobs from their phones.
  • Nothing falls through the cracks.

Built with AI, in weeks, by an owner, not an agency.

That's the point.
